Alex Davis winner of the best poster at the Undergraduate Research Symposium
Kudos to Alex for successfully combining GIS and music!
Alex Davis – an undergraduate majoring in music education is currently working with Dr. Ambinakudige on a GIS project. Alex has won the first prize in the poster competition in Arts & Humanities category in the Spring 2019 Undergraduate Research Symposium held on April 16th, 2019. Alex’s poster was on Tracking the Soundscape: A GIS analysis of a major music genre of the United States - Footprints of Jazz.
