10th annual MSU STEM Day

JROTC students visiting MSU campus

Every year students from Jackson, MS public schools come to MSU to present their scientific research. The event is designed to expose high school students to geosciences majors and showcase programs that our department has to offer.  This year students visited our Weather Studio and the Dunn-Seiler Museum, as well as the Cobb Institute and ROTC facilities in Middleton Hall. For many of them, this was their first time visiting a college campus.
