2012 Recruiting Showcase

The Department of Geosciences has set the dates for its 2012 Recruiting Showcase.  If you are interested in our department for graduate school, this event is a great opportunity for you to get to know the faculty, staff, and students (current and future).  The Showcase has become a fun Geosciences tradition and we look forward to meeting new friends and colleagues.

Tentative Schedule

Thursday, February 16

Noon–5 pm:  Recruits arrive and settle into host locations

6–8 pm:  Dinner with hosts and the Showcase committee

Friday, February 17

8–9 am:  Breakfast at City Bagel

9–11:30 am:  Tours of town, campus, and department

11:30–12:30 pm:  Lunch and presentation by Grad Coordinator

12:30–3:30 pm:  Meet with faculty, sit in on class, visit GRI, etc.

3:30–5:30 pm:  Free time.

6 pm:  Dinner, socializing, and baseball at Left Field Lounge
