Our meteorology program accepted into the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research

Proud to be a part of UCAR

As part of the continuing effort to grow and improve the meteorology program in the Department of Geosciences at MSU, we have recently been accepted into the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR) as a member institution. Founded in 1960, UCAR is a non-profit consortium of over 100 colleges and universities across North America focused on research and education in the atmospheric sciences. UCAR works with the member institutions to promote research, develop collaborations, expand educational opportunities, and engage in community programs to advocate the atmospheric sciences. The Department of Geosciences is proud to be a part of UCAR, and looks forward to using this opportunity to continue to expand and promote our programs in atmospheric and earth science.
