Dr. Kathy Sherman-Morris received the Dean's Eminent Scholar Award

Congratulations! 

Congratulations to Dr. Kathy Sherman-Morris who received the Dean's Eminent Scholar Award given by the Mississippi State College of Arts & Sciences at October 2016 fall faculty meeting. The Department also recognized 4 new faculty in the Department this year, including Dr. Nate Gabriel, an assistant geography professor, Dr. Varun Paul, an assistant geology professor, Dr. Erik Fraza, an assistant clinical professor in meteorology teaching distance learning and Dr. Athena Owen Nagel, an assistant clinical professor in geology and geospatial technologies also teaching in the distance learning programs.
